In this role, you will be responsible for supporting recruiting efforts across Canada and the United States. This will include providing full life-cycle mid-career recruiting support within the division as well as administrative and facilities roles.

The Role

Performance Objectives:


Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process for assigned experienced-level job openings:

– Partner with hiring manager to establish overall recruiting strategy for a search

– Source candidates based upon a broad based strategy with a focus on direct sourcing

– Screen candidates against specific selection criteria, complete written evaluations and share with hiring team

– Manage the interview process, ensuring that the hiring team is properly prepared and candidates are properly and comprehensively evaluated as well as “sold” on the opportunity

– Manage candidates through the process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience

– Develop competitive offers, manage offer extension and effectively close candidates

– Ensure that new hires are properly on-boarded.

– Identify talent within the marketplace to create a pipeline for current and future hiring needs

– Manage and maintain active communication with candidates once they have entered our process; exit candidates professionally if they do not meet Willis Towers Watson requirements

– Oversee all logistics for scheduling of interviews, receptions, presentations, attendee lists, etc

– Record, update and analyze all recruiting data using Taleo


– Proactively work with the Canadian recruiting leader on all regional recruitment strategies

– Work closely with selected university school/campus teams and educate them on their roles and responsibilities

– Effectively communicate appropriate information to business stakeholders and interview team members

– Collaborate with Diversity and Inclusion team in order meet diversity, gender and other specific recruiting goals


– Establish a trusted advisor role with hiring managers concerning recruiting and related talent management strategies; provide high quality client relationship management

– Partner with the HR Partner as necessary

– Partner with interview teams and hiring managers to appropriately evaluate and manage candidates through the interview process

– Communicate progress to hiring managers concerning status of one’s own searches and articulate plans to adjust activity where necessary


– Meet or exceed recruiting metrics including number of hires, cost per hire, etc.

– Consistently explore new and innovative approaches that reduce recruiting cost while maintaining high quality support

– Ensure that processes are effective and efficient while looking for opportunities for continuous improvement

The Requirements

• 5+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a professional services environment

• Bilingual (English and French) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages required

• Ability to manage and ongoing requisition load of 20-30 openings, while limiting fee based sources

• Significant experience consulting with hiring managers on recruitment strategies

• Strong business acumen and ability to grasp new concepts quickly

• Demonstrated direct sourcing/cold calling experience

• Recruiting applicant tracking experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent studies in human resources, business or related field a plus
