We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for resolution of desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone related problems. You will manage all desktop/laptop computer systems, phones, and peripherals.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for resolution of desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone related problems. You will manage all desktop/laptop computer systems, phones, and peripherals.

Responsibilities include:

• Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; tests and implements solutions.

• Procure, update, and maintain all software used on corporate systems.

• Establish and maintain hardware and software configuration management program.

• Document and maintain a permanent inventory of all Corporate IT equipment.

• Maintain all licenses and service agreements for all software and equipment; track and update licenses and document as required.

• Provide and manage cellular telephones and services for Company issued equipment.

• Creation of sites and user provisioning in SharePoint.

• Packaging of application software for Deployment using Microsoft SCCM.

• Creation/modification of task sequences for imaging new desktop/laptop computer systems using

Microsoft SCCM.

• Troubleshoot, research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues surrounding Windows 7 and 10, MS Office applications, email, other special applications, Internet connections, and hardware/peripheral equipment.

• Document, track, resolve, and report on problems and work orders using JIRA Service Desk.

• Creation and modification of user accounts via Active Directory, submit changes to file management and

peripheral devices via JIRA Service Desk Manager, escalate network incidents, and provide direct support to internal customers.

• Technical expertise in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of all associated operating systems.

• User access management of applications both internally and externally hosted.

• Provides an advanced level of troubleshooting support in response to complex problems, questions, and

inquiries that have been escalated by team members providing second or third level of support

• Coordinates escalation of issues requiring support from other internal teams and external vendor support

• Provides an advanced level of technical support in remediating security vulnerabilities

The Requirements

• 5-10 year’s technical and system level support experience including Operating Systems, application software troubleshooting, and support of complex systems

• 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft System Configuration Manager (SCCM)

• Intermediate knowledge working with OS imaging automation – PXE booting, Windows PE, Microsoft MBAM

• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Group Policy, Log in scripts, and PowerShell

• Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory policy, security and distribution groups, users, and OUs

• 1-2 years of experience supporting RSA tokens

• 1-2 years of experience supporting CISCO VPN and VOIP Phone systems

• Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel.

• Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks and related hardware and software.

• Ability to activate and troubleshoot cellphones.

• Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.

• Knowledge of VPN, wireless, and other networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

• Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems.

• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in support of hardware installations
