JOB DESCRIPTION

The RE&WS Function is responsible for providing the environment, processes, equipment and resources that efficiently and effectively help our Willis Towers Watson colleagues meet client demands and the overall objectives of the organization. The Safety & Security program is responsible for providing a global and integrated framework of objectives, procedures and tools with a focus on meeting internal and external, regulatory and social expectations for the safety & security of our colleagues, visitors and assets. Operational implementation and management of the program will rely heavily on the RE&WS Facilities Services network and practices globally. The Regional Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the implementation of and compliance with our company Safety & Security policies, standards and protocols within the region.

The Role

  • Develop, enhance and maintain the Corporate Safety & Security Program to align and support the specific demands and requirements within the specific region(s)

  • Identify protection goals, objectives and metrics consistent with best practices and corporate objectives for application with assets in the region(s)

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of global Safety & Security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of colleagues, visitors and assets.

  • Monitor, audit and evaluate the operational effectiveness of the corporate safety & security program within the region(s), to include periodic site visits, reports and recommendations

  • Assist local and regional leaders and facilities managers in implementing and improving safety & security practices and responding to colleague and client inquiries

  • Coordinate with Employee Relations and Risk Management on security related issues and concerns • Investigate all security incidents within the region(s) and ensure timely reporting, resolution and implementation of corrective actions for each incident

  • Provide subject matter expertise in physical security to enhance program effectiveness in the region(s) and broader company objectives • Operate as an integral part of the Global Safety & Security / Facilities Services Teams and provide input to/support wider WTW activities

The Requirements

Business acumen and experience relating to Safety and Security programmers to support organizational strategies

Experience in program development and implementation in large regional corporate environment including Security Officer Standards & Programs

Ability to work collaboratively with leadership navigating senior and c-level relationships successfully

An ability to balance risk, demand and business priorities

Experienced in Risk Assessment/Data Collections/ Standards Application processes

Knowledge of the fundamentals of Security Systems Integration

CPP or PSP Professional Certification required
