This role you will be an integral part of a global team that will deliver technical solutions in a quality and efficient manner to clients around the world.

In this role you will be using C#, SQL and ASP.NET MVC to develop software to support our benefits administration product. We are a collaborative environment and seeking individuals who are good communicators with experience in the .NET framework.

The Role

  • Systems programming using Visual Studio, C#, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery

  • Design, code, test and debug enhancements and defect to meet stakeholder’s needs

  • Conduct code reviews of peers

  • Deliver timely unit-tested high quality systems that meet specification functionality requirements

  • Keep abreast of latest developments regarding effective procedures, methods, and tools in software development and testing

  • Work with a team in delivering product requirements on specified timeline and participate actively in team meetings

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related area

  • At least 3 years development experience in MS SQL Server / Transact-SQL, Microsoft .Net, C#, and either ASP.Net or MVC

  • Experience or training in: RDBMS, SQL, HTML, C#, ASP.Net, OOP, SOA, ORM, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery

  • Experience preferred but not required in: ASP.NET MVC

  • Experience in converting data from flat files to MS SQL Server and C# is preferred

  • Experience in the Financials, Human Resources or Benefits domain areas is preferred, but not required

  • Experience in working with scrum teams is preferred, but not required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to quickly learn and evaluate new tools, concepts, and challenges

  • Ability to work on “virtual” teams with members from different geographic areas

  • Experience working with the US is preferred, but not required

  • Ability to multi-task, and be mindful of deadlines

  • Self-motivated and ability to remain focused on assigned projects

  • Committed to quality and continuous improvement

  • Be available to work extended work hours, if needed
