As the Pega Architecture Lead, you’ll be responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega. In this senior leadership role, you will demonstrate strong analytical and communications skills as well as draw upon your solid, hands-on development experience with Pega software. We are looking for someone to be a mentor to others, an advocate of best practices, and an active coach across the organization. You should be able to recognize and stay up to date on current techniques and tools, but also be prudent knowing what is and isn’t a good fit

The Role

As the Pega Architecture Lead, you’ll be responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega. • Design, develop and implement exceptional technical solutions

• Coordinate with the Architecture Team regarding integration efforts between Pega and WTW systems

• Provide expertise and guidance around best practices for Pega development, QA, and security

• Work with engineering teams as they start new Pega projects to ensure a maintainable architecture is created

• Consistently demonstrate your knowledge of industry standard project delivery frameworks including Agile and Scrum

• Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle

• Demonstrate technical knowledge by mentoring junior team members on on-going basis

• Translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements using PegaSystems SmartBPM methodology and DCO tools

The Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a senior-level engineering (or similar) role

• Pega Lead System Architect certification is a plus

o Or become trained and certified as a Pega LSA

• Hands on experience in software development and expertise in software architecture best practices

• Communicate effectively with team members, team leads, and stakeholders

• Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and motivational skills

• BS in Computer Science or related field
