The Role

Overview of Business:

Human resources team is one of the six corporate functions within Willis Towers Watson globally. It is made up of Geographical teams, Global HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence.

Working with the business, the HR Partner team plays an important role in partnering with the business leadership team to support business growth. The team works closely with the Centres of Excellence (COEs) and the shared services team to assist in managing employee relations, HR operations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, talent development and total rewards ensuring seamless delivery to the client.

The HR Administrator works closely with HR Manager to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR administration and services. As well as to support in activities related to:

Performance Objectives :

Payroll administration

  • Assist with payroll reconciliation and salary summary report

  • Prepare payroll calculations for leavers

  • Assist with filing of annual income tax

HR administration

  • Submission of relevant statutory claims (IR21, NS Men, CCL etc)

  • Maintain data accuracy in personnel files and HR records

  • Submit any other statutory reports to relevant government bodies

Onboarding / Off-boarding

  • On-boarding and off-boarding administration

  • Submission to the relevant authorities for tax clearance

  • Assist with application and cancellation of work passes

Other responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit statutory surveys

  • Provide staff advice concerning HR policies, practices and benefits

  • Administer the company’s Group policy

  • Support Group’s programs /initiatives launch and implementation

  • Assist in office administration

  • Any other ad hoc duties involving HR functions

The Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in HR Management or equivalent

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (including written and spoken English)

  • Working knowledge of local labour laws and HR governance practices

  • Minimum 1 years’ HR operations experience, ideally in Financial Services / Professional Services industry

  • Knowledge of payroll system (Timesoft and Oracle)

  • Proactive, able to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Analytical – able to gather, interpret and analyse data relating to HR trends

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Deal with confidential information in a highly ethical manner
