The Business

The Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence provides state of the art, full life-cycle recruiting services. We partner with business leaders to define recruiting needs and develop a clear and comprehensive plan for achieving them. We develop attraction and sourcing strategies, create employment value propositions and recruiting tools, and manage a streamlined interview process and effectively close and onboard candidates – at both the university and experienced hire levels.

The Role

The Recruiter will be responsible for supporting recruiting efforts in Latin America. This will include providing full life-cycle mid-career recruiting support within the division as well as supporting university recruiting initiatives.

Performance Objectives:

Excellence

o Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process for assigned job openings.

o Partner with hiring manager to establish overall recruiting strategy for a search

o Source candidates based upon a broad based strategy with a focus on direct sourcing

o Screen candidates against specific selection criteria, complete written evaluations and share with hiring team

o Manage the interview process, ensuring that the hiring team is properly prepared and candidates are properly and comprehensively evaluated as well as “sold” on the opportunity

o Manage candidates through the process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience

o Develop competitive offers, manage offer extension and effectively close candidates

o Ensure that new hires are properly on-boarded.

-Identify talent within the marketplace to create a pipeline for current and future hiring needs

– Direct and coordinate university recruiting activities that may include communications, on-site interviewing, and other administrative details for university recruiting

– Develop and cultivate relationships with campus careers services or placement office directors and initiate activities on campus to promote company

– Record, update and analyse all recruiting data using PeopleFluent

– Manage and maintain active communication with candidates once they have entered our process; exit candidates professionally if they do not meet Tower Watson requirements

– Oversee all logistics for scheduling of interviews, receptions, presentations, attendee lists, etc

People

– Proactively work with the Latin American recruiting leader on all regional recruitment strategies

– Work closely with selected university school/campus teams and educate them on their roles and responsibilities

– Effectively communicate appropriate information to business stakeholders and interview team members

Clients

– Establish a trusted advisor role with hiring managers concerning recruiting and related talent management strategies; provide high quality client relationship management

– Partner with the HR Business Partners as necessary

– Partner with interview teams and hiring managers to appropriately evaluate and manage candidates through the interview process

– Communicate progress to hiring managers concerning status of one’s own searches and articulate plans to adjust activity where necessary

Financial

– Meet or exceed recruiting metrics including number of hires, cost per hire, etc.

– Consistently explore new and innovative approaches that reduce recruiting cost while maintaining high quality support

– Ensure that processes are effective and efficient while looking for opportunities for continuous improvement

The Requirements

  • 2-3 years of full life cycle recruitment experience (desirable).

  • Must be bilingual (English and Portuguese) with the ability to speak, read and write fluently in both languages. Spanish will be desirable.

  • Ability to manage and ongoing requisition load of 20-30 openings.

  • Significant experience consulting with hiring managers on recruitment strategies

  • Strong business acumen and ability to grasp new concepts quickly

  • Demonstrated direct sourcing/cold calling experience

  • Recruiting applicant tracking experience (PeopleFluent, Taleo highly preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in human resources, business or related field
