The Business

Our Health and Benefits business helps our clients control soaring health and employee benefits plans, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through broad-based, state-of-the-art interventions. We provide solutions encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, legal and compliance, and governance strategies.

The Global Benefits Center (GBC) is an internal service center that provides international support on local level in the employee-benefits industry. The vision of GBC is provide different services includes support for insurance contract renewal analysis, policy mid-term adjustments, claims tracking and resolution, insurance database management, reporting and be the first point of resolution in technological issues for main IT platforms of H&B business.

The Role

As a Health and Benefits Support Analyst you will be responsible for the support of regional platforms as first point of resolution and is accountable to follow-up resolution escalated to the second level. Also you will provide support for Client Data configuration in Benefits IT platforms and provide training about this IT platforms for local users through the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer ongoing and annual enrolment daily benefit system activities

  • Receive and import data files containing client information of new or contracts to be renewed.

  • Process system data updates such as indicative data, election data, dependent and beneficiary data.

  • Help develop and maintain system processing documentation

  • Process and fulfil enrolment worksheets, confirmation statements and other benefit related materials

  • Support access management and issues of first level of resolution into Benefits platforms

  • Support IT platform implementation processes (Testing and users trainings)

  • Carry out testing sets

  • Carry out training needs analysis

  • Design training programmes appropriate to the skills needed

  • Prepare the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment where appropriate

  • Deliver training programs in formal (e.g. a classroom), informal (e.g. floor-walking) or online (e.g. e-learning and webinar) settings

  • Support and coach learners using learning technologies to deliver skills.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop technical knowledge of benefits plans around the region

  • Develop data processing skills

The Requirements

  • Aptitude to learn new technology products and services

  • Ability to gain a strong understanding of the administrative process as it relates benefit platforms

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel and Word

  • User skills – internet browsers

  • Ability to complete multiple demands within established deadlines

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English required

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a program with heavy emphasis on system administrator: Technical computer, system engineering, IT administrator

    • 3 year of experience is required
