Summary of Role

First point of contact for all Centralised Document Printing related queries. Fulfilment of all daily print jobs. Open, sort and batch incoming post. Electronically scan documents onto members records. Ensure service level agreements and accuracy levels are consistently met for the Print and Scanning Team

The Role

  • First point of contact for all Centralised Printing related queries.

  • Responsibility for the day to day running of the print room.

  • Ensure post that is processed via CDP is sent out in accordance with agreed timescales.

  • Reviewing daily error reports to ensure that all letters have been successfully processed. To deal with any errors as a matter of urgency.

  • Working with various third parties to ensure that any issues (hardware & software) are identified, reported and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Working with the business on the roll out of additional letters/clients.

  • Setting up & testing additional CDP jobs on the fulfilment machine.

  • Undertake regular stock takes of all materials and re-order when necessary

  • Working with admin teams on any ad-hoc bulk CDP jobs.

  • Review, scan and process a high volume of customer’s ID Documentation and incoming post

  • Be fully conversant and proactive with SLAs and ensure they are delivered consistently.

  • Be fully conversant with Print/Scan Team and TAS procedures.

  • Work to set rotas as determined by the Team Supervisor.

  • Pro actively ensure that excellence is consistently maintained.

  • Provide accurate readings for scanning equipment on a daily basis.

  • Be fully conversant with all software and hardware as required

  • Assist in training other associates.

  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators as requested

  • Assist in the development and continual updating of a departmental procedures manual.

  • Attend and participate fully in an annual review, and action agreed SMART objectives.

  • Assist with any other appropriate duties, as directed by the Team Supervisor.

  • Excellent motivational skills required.

  • Good understanding of standard MS applications.

  • Team player

  • Eye for detail

  • Common sense and methodical working practice

  • Ability to work to agreed timescales

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Print Room/Scan Centre experience would be highly desirable
