The Role

The IT Risk and Assurance department, at Willis Towers Watson reports into the CIO through the IT COO, and has a dotted reporting line into the CISO to reflect close links with the Information Security function. The team has a global remit with members based in the US, UK and Mumbai.

This role is ideally suited to a candidate who has proven analysis, organization and reporting skills coupled with experience of IT operations, IT risk and/or IT audit.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is able to operate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, quick to learn and adapt, self-starting and has a desire to progress their career in a large corporate organization.

  • Provide co-ordination, tracking, monitoring and reporting for live audits and open audit points

  • Produce metrics and dashboards

  • Support for training and communications

  • Continuous improvement and alignment of audited global controls

  • Work with control owners and other key stakeholders to prepare for IT audits, internal and external

  • Support preparation and planning for audits

  • Help to co-ordinate the annual SOX audit including preparation of attendees, attendance at and documentation of meetings.

  • Follow up open audit points and work with the wider IT team to resolve

  • Status reporting and MI

  • Help with managing relationships with local internal and external auditors

  • Build good working relationships process and control owners

  • Documentation of risks and controls, including risk control matrices and process flows

The Requirements

  • Analysis of risk and controls

  • Advanced use of Excel

  • Experience of IT Operations, IT Risk and/or IT Audit

  • Understanding of controls and their operation

  • Knowledge of the IT Audit process

  • Producing reports and metrics

  • Co-ordination, planning and governance

  • Organizing and managing information

  • Analyzing and documenting processes and workflows

  • Producing documentation

  • Maintaining and tracking information

  • Working to tight deadlines

  • Organizing, scheduling and documenting meetings

  • Used to working in a large complex organization (preferably in Financial Services)

  • Experience of SOX Audits an advantage

  • Good stakeholder management skills

  • Questioning approach
