The Business

Our Health and Benefits business helps large and mid-size clients control soaring health and welfare plan costs, improve health outcomes and promote employee engagement through broad-based, state-of-the-art interventions. We provide solutions encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, legal compliance and governance strategies. We also provide Specialty consulting services including clinical/health management program design, pharmacy solutions, disability/absence management strategies and claims audit services. Product based solutions such as our pharmacy purchasing coalition round out our broad-based suite of offerings.

The Role

As a Benefits Systems Project Manager you will plan, implement and successfully execute projects based on consultant, client and carrier requirements, operating on strict timelines. This includes working with project resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives, oversee all tasks of the implementation and serve as the primary point of contact and coordination throughout the project life cycle.


  • Utilize knowledge of business and appropriate systems to consult on the implementation and on-going support of benefits clients.

  • Participation in client project work.

  • Communicate with broad range of business stakeholders in order to keep projects on task.

  • Navigate across departments to solve problems or remove roadblocks.

  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal and is able to articulately adapt style for various purposes and audiences


  • Assist in the deployment of the benefits admin systems, utilizing your own experiences and ideas as well as those of your clients.

  • Acquire and develop knowledge of specific tools and processes including Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools, Case Management, & other proprietary Benefits Admin tools.

  • Prepared to put in the extra effort when needed to meet challenging test deadlines.

  • Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, overcoming any problems as they arise.

  • Demonstrate the ability to deal with any obstacles and setbacks.


  • Prepared to show initiative where appropriate, but equally prepared to take instructions from others where appropriate in order to contribute to projects of varying nature across the whole department.

The Requirements

The Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree.

  • English and Italian fluency,

  • 3-5 years’ project management experience

  • Skilled at producing application and business requirements

  • Strong skills in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering

  • Experience with Project Management tools. (MS Project, TFS , etc.)

  • Good understanding of benefits administration and IT technical background.

  • Good understanding of data and data manipulation, ideally with experience of working with ETL and Case Management tools. (MS Dynamics, Informatica, Infosphere, CloverETL, etc.)

  • Self-motivated and ability to work on own and to tight timescales.

  • Strong problem solving skills and a logical mind to be able to analyze data and ‘write’ eligibility and calculation rules.

  • Positive attitude towards change and organizational development.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and manipulation of data

  • Knowledge of SQL would be useful.
