The Senior Business Analyst will have a significantly important role in the development of The Asset Management Exchange capability across all functions of the business. As part of our Technology & Change Team (AMX Digital), the successful candidate will be responsible for eliciting user and business requirements and translating into the design and build of our digital capability, client experience and business processes.

The Senior Business Analyst will report directly to the Head of Change or Head of Solution Design. Given the importance of the role and the entrepreneurial nature of the business, you will be working closely with the other members of the AMX team across functions, including Ex Co level stakeholders. In addition, engagement will be required with our end clients (i.e. Institutional Investors and Investment Managers).

The Role

  • Responsible for requirements gathering, documentation and communication of user and business requirements for all assigned projects

  • Primary responsibility will be lead Business Analyst for the AMX Digital Portal however other projects may include CRM, Client Reporting, Content Management and Risk

  • Working with the Head of Solution Design to promote best practice documentation and business analysis process (e.g. BRD’s, design logs, design specs, process flows etc)

  • Working closely with other members of the design team such as UX lead and Data, Technology SME’s to ensure all requirements are captured and documented appropriately across design and visual, functional, data and technology

  • Membership of the Design Team Forum, requiring contribution to designs, validation of designs, and QA of design specs

  • Formal role in user acceptance testing as part of Go Live and implementation

  • Liaison with third party vendors will be required such as our development partners for the Portal, other third party technology providers, administrators and data providers

The Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a worked in either Senior Business Analyst, or Consultant in the Investment or Asset Management sector, Institutional experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience is required across a broad range of areas including, Digital projects (e.g. investor portals and website), CRM & sales enablement (e.g. CRM, content management tools), Client reporting (e.g. reporting tools, data needs, reporting processes), Business processes (e.g. workflow tools, process improvement, operations)

  • Team player who is flexible and adaptable across a range of tasks

  • A broad mix of Digital, Technology and Business requirements is essential

  • Experience of institutional client reporting and client servicing is a significant plus

  • Good understanding of data, operations and regulations is beneficial

  • Self-motivated and organised with ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities simultaneously
