JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role

In this position you will collaborate with the Broking Development Manager and Broking leadership to define and manage projects that contribute to the success of the Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) segment. You will monitor progress against the plan across our work streams and report to management whilst tracking performance of our CRB Broking scorecard objectives and KPIs to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. You will contribute to strategy formulation and ensure variations across global lines of business and geography are embedded into planning.

This role can be based in either our Ipswich or London office.

Your major accountabilities will be:

  • Coordinating, designing, implementing and managing specific projects to shape and deliver strategic objectives

  • Working with CRB Broking Development Manager to develop a global framework to set, manage and track objectives and performance

  • Engaging with key stakeholder groups to ensure they are involved, consulted and informed regularly

  • Collating and presenting key management information to enable the CRB Broking central team and CRB Broking team to effectively organise and prioritise the workload

  • Facilitating key meetings and working closely with stakeholder groups, such as technology, to ensure objectives are clear and understood, and desired outcomes are captured and communicated

  • Actively engaging with project sponsors to keep projects on track, monitor/report progress and ensure outcomes align with CRB Broking and CRB strategic goals.

  • Working with management to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities

  • Building positive and trustful working relationships with our key stakeholders

  • Working with CRB Broking Development Manager to ensure the strategy is clearly articulated and understood by stakeholders

The Requirements

  • Experience in business or project management in a corporate environment

  • Experience of working within the Insurance Broking sector

  • Professional qualification such as Prince2

  • Good facilitation skills to keep sessions targeted and on track

  • Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders

  • Able to communicate effectively with junior through to very senior colleagues

  • Experience in working with IT teams and understanding of their delivery processes

  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills

  • Ability to negotiate and influence

  • Ability to use initiative and work under pressure
