Summary of Role

As a member of the Health & Benefits team, you will be comfortable having broad conversations with clients and prospects, and to help them define their future benefits strategy. This will involve building strong relationships with key contacts and introducing our consulting propositions to expand our services and solutions.

As an experienced professional within the health and benefits space, you will be comfortable talking across healthcare and risk benefits and you will understand the driver and goals of corporate client in relation to their programmes.

The Role

You will be an experienced account manager and possess strong organisational skills, preferably with some experience in project management. Within a growing company you will be looking to build on your current understanding of the UK market and have an appetite for learning about new markets for a benefits co-ordination perspective.

• Build your own network to create strong relationships internally and externally.

• Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients / colleagues at all levels.

• Collaborate effectively.

• Provide strategic consultative advice to clients around the design, delivery and ongoing management of their healthcare and risk benefit related programmes.

• Interact with vendors and clients both internally and externally.

• Form part of and lead account teams, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met at all times.

• Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations.

• Develop a broad understanding of Willis Towers Watsons’s service and solutions.

• Understand and stay current on clients’ business situation, strategy and HR, risk, and finance needs.

• Ability to articulate in meetings, in written communications and in formal presentations the overall Willis Towers Watson proposition and specifically the features and benefits of our solutions.

• Increase efficient within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes.

• Meet new business targets and chargeable hours’ objectives.

• Play an integral role in growing revenue by converting propositions into additional fee income.

• Ensure that client/prospect of Willis Towers Watson financial arrangements, policies and procedures.

The Requirements

• In depth technical knowledge regarding healthcare and risk benefit programmes.

• A good understanding and appreciation of broader employee health, risk and wellbeing issues, ideally gained at a brokerage firm.

• A consultative style.

• Well organised and detail oriented (e.g. able to both plan and communicate efficiently).

• Strong Written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation.

Ability to work independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

• Self-starter; interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one’s comfort zone.

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
