The Role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to support the Head of Marketing on the implementation of digital activities from the marketing plan. While this role will cover the broad marketing mix, we are looking for a candidate with a strong digital focus.

Marketing :

  • Work with Head of Marketing to create a digital marketing strategy to drive activity and client engagement across platforms (web, social, and CRM and marketing automation)

  • Develop and manage campaigns to promote our content across all channels

  • Support client events (both sponsored and proprietary) to help raise the awareness of the brand, build relationships and generate leads

  • Day-to-day management of website (including SEO), email marketing and social media

  • Drive email marketing activity around campaigns

  • Management of content for digital channels – both creating the content and uploading it, delivering assets to accompany the content and developing/maintaining the content calendar

  • Use Google Analytics and other tools to evaluate activity across all marketing channels and make recommendations for improvement

  • Contribute to the overall marketing planning process.

Business awareness :

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the AMX business as well as broader investment industry

  • Awareness of the competitive environment and an understanding of how marketing strategy and plans are positioned within this to help differentiate AMX.

Relationships :

  • Working with the Head of Marketing and the Senior Marketing Manager on the implementation of the marketing plan, predominantly on the digital elements but also across wider marketing activities

  • Work with Business Development and key business stakeholders in AMX on the implementation of campaigns to support lead generation and help open up opportunities to engage with clients

  • Develop good working relationships and foster collaboration with colleagues from across the marketing and communications function, including CoE’s (Communications, PR, Digital, Events and Research/Analytics) to coordinate effectively and support the delivery of marketing programmes and activities

  • Work with the broader firm’s other Industry, Segment and Geographic marketing teams to develop integrated marketing (as appropriate) as well as leveraging thought-leadership, research and other marketing initiatives

  • Build solid working relationships with external suppliers such as design agencies, PR agencies and event contractors.

Financial management :

  • Manage costs and invoices to ensure Marketing is up to date on their budget

  • Reporting and analysis of marketing effectiveness and impact.

Other :

  • Support the overall operational governance and decision making processes for AMX, and demonstrate the values

  • London-based with requirement to travel to other UK and European locations as required.

The Requirements

  • Strong experience in digital marketing communications as well as exposure to the broader marketing media

  • Experience in building, sending and reporting on email marketing campaigns

  • Experience in managing social media, based on achieving key goals

  • Ability to optimise content and manage the amplification / dissemination of this content

  • Ability to contribute to marketing planning and input to key initiatives

  • Working understanding of SEO and PPC

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Adwords, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and marketing automation

  • Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • A completer finisher mind-set with the drive to deliver projects in a timely manner regardless of any obstacles and challenges

  • Strong communications skills, self-motivated and organised with ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously

  • Team player who is flexible and adaptable across a range of tasks, able to forge relationships and credibility quickly and effectively

  • Experience in financial services is desirable.
