As a Communication and Change Management Senior Analyst, you will develop consultative, client relations and project management abilities alongside some of the industry’s top consultants while developing cutting-edge technical knowledge and skills.

Your work will provide immediate exposure to real client assignments and interactions that draw on your imagination, creativity and exceptional writing skills, as well as your ability to analyze and organize information, develop conclusions and present content through clear, well-written communication in a variety of media formats. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from more structured learning opportunities that are tailored to the business area you join.

You will also have the opportunity to develop cross-functional knowledge and skills in other areas, such as Towers Watson’s Rewards and Talent Management practices.

The Role

  • Partner with consultants on client projects across multiple Towers Watson practices working in a variety of industries and HR functional areas

  • Create, write, edit and deliver compelling, articulate, creative and innovative communication materials in various media for internal use by clients

  • Conduct, synthesize and analyze employee research (e.g., focus groups, employee surveys)

  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge media and technology strategies

  • Analyze human resource and business communication processes, and help make recommendations for improvement

  • Partner with experienced consultants to present and implement communication and change management strategies

  • Deliver superior, consistent project management for assignments across multiple practice areas, such as Communications and Change Management, Rewards and Talent Management

  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

  • Demonstrate natural ease, effectiveness and willingness to learn and grow when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

The Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of technical and creative business writing skills (demonstrated experience writing and editing communications for a varied audience; compensation and/or benefits materials preferred)

  • Ability to take complex, highly technical information/topics and create clear, simple communications that engage readers, draw out key messages and explain actions/behaviors needed

  • Strong work ethic and time-management abilities amidst competing priorities, multiple simultaneous projects and demanding deadlines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts – preferably English, Communication, Journalism or Human Resources

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as experience using Adobe Acrobat for document review and formatting

  • Experience facilitating, coaching and mentoring teams specifically to drive consensus, brainstorm and/or to gather data for a project(s)

  • Solid web communications skills (developing content and functionality requirements for a self service environment) and experience working with graphic designers to craft the “look and feel” of the communication venue
