As the Defined Contribution Delegated Investment – Solutions and Sales Leader, you will be responsible for leading efforts to define and evolve the development of our delegated go to market solution, managing a region with direct sales goals. You will work apply your understanding of the client needs, competitive environment and our intellectual capital to build and maintain a best in class defined contribution OCIO solution and manage the growth of our service offering in one of our regional (central, west or east). You will then work closely with all aspects of the DIS offering including Manager Research, Portfolio Management, Implementation and Operation Teams, and Technology resources and work directly with the retirement office leaders, investment consultants to customize a client solution for existing clients and new business opportunities.

• Knowledge of the best ideas in managing defined contribution plans in a holistic manner

• Solutions and client strategic sales experience managing a customize investment solution

• Demonstrated ability to operate in a collaborative manner

• Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with Professional Excellence requirements

People

• Experienced in understanding all aspects of a delegated or OCIO defined contribution relationship

• Collaborative partner who brings ideas on how a delegated offering can more efficiently operate to maximize value for clients in meeting their goals and objectives

• Serve as senior resource for the investment practice and key point relationship contact for the broader firm (e.g., Retirement)

• Proven track record of building strong relationships internally and collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams including Retirement, Portfolio Management, Delegated Operations, and Business developments areas

• Build effective working relationships with clients/colleagues at all levels

Clients

• Define and manage the evolution of the overall delegated defined contribution go to market offering for clients and prospects

• Work with the Retirement and Investment resources to identify possible delegate needs in the market place

• Contribute to the development and innovative and best in class thinking regarding defined contribution and solutions

• Support the creation of prospect and client deliverables

Sales

• Manage a region and responsible for growing our delegated defined contribution practice

• Developing delegated business growth strategy

• Managing pipeline

• Report up-take, pipeline reporting

• Internal and external feedback on our go to market solution

Requirements:

• Significant actuarial, investment, and risk management acumen gained in a Senior / Director level role

• 10+ years of investment solutions and sales experience

• Earned or currently pursuing FSA or CFA credentials

• Series 7 license or progress towards examination

• Proven track record in managing client assignments, generating and progressing prospect opportunities within DC and DB Investment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Team-player; able to work with people at a variety of levels

• High attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, high quality work

• Strong technical skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
