As the Manager of Client Implementation, you will lead a high-performing team of Team Leads and Project Managers, responsible for successfully delivering the Group Marketplace technology platform and services to our clients. You will serve as the face of each client’s first experience on the platform and be responsible for the overall success of all implementations and direction of the team.

The Role

As the Manager of Client Implementation, you will lead a high-performing team of Team Leads and Project Managers, responsible for successfully delivering the Group Marketplace technology platform and services to our clients. You will serve as the face of each client’s first experience on the platform and be responsible for the overall success of all implementations and direction of the team.

The Manager of Client Implementation will also set the overall team’s priorities, objectives, and vision to promote a positive and continuous improvement culture, as well as serve as the primary escalated point of contact to resolve conflict and issues that may arise.

Responsibilities Include

• Supervise and lead a team of Team Leads, leading their own teams of Project Managers

• Serve as primary point of contact for your team of Team Leads

• Act as an escalation resource across all clients during the implementation process to address issues and concerns that arise

• Support Team Leads in assignment of new client work and ongoing review of team capacity

• Manage staffing, HR-related tasks, and compensation for all members of the team

• Develop and maintain team’s capacity model year-over-year, regularly monitoring sales forecast to align current and future resources with new business

• Support new sales pursuits and opportunities, representing the implementation team and educating partners and prospective new clients on the experience

• Conduct weekly Team Leadership meetings, as well as weekly full team meetings

• Identify and resolve issues and/or conflicts within the implementation process, clients and partners

• Review deliverables prepared by team as needed before presenting to the customer

• Innovate and apply implementation methodology and enforces project standards

• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members, clients and other project stakeholders

• Proactively identify risks and manage change throughout the team

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the team

• Develop and deliver progress reports, communication and presentations as needed

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate resources

• Any other duties as assigned

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or other related field.

• 7+ years’ experience in leading teams/supervising associates

• 10+ years’ experience in project management or customer/account management; ability to concurrently manage multiple clients

• Experience with processes of strategic planning and management, customer training and education, process improvement, change/scope management, conflict resolution, resource planning and utilization

• Expertise in relationship building and relationship management; prior experience in a client-focused role is required

• Experience in building, developing, and growing teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; high attention to detail; ability to clearly and confidently explain new concepts to audiences

• Proficient in the use of computer programs and software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook and Power Point. Ability to quickly learn various software applications.

• Master’s or MBA degree preferred

• Understanding of benefits/insurance industry required
