The Business

The growing complexity of management and communication of pension plans means that more and more companies wish to delegate this to specialists. Because of this trend, we are expanding our team within the department retirement benefits and pension.

The Role

The role of Pensions administrator is to work within an administration team servicing both member and client queries in relation to occupational pension schemes.


  • Communicate effectively with client/members via the telephone, remembering each caller will have a different level of understanding. Record each call as they occur.

  • Identify areas where the service to clients/members could be improved and communicate to Administration Co-ordinator/Administration Controller.

  • Deal with simple queries and requests by the use of standard letters.

  • Monitor own workflow to ensure service levels are achieved.

  • Accurately perform manual calculations.


  • Assist the wider team in more complex / project work when required.

  • Support colleagues for holiday cover and workload peaks


  • Help to provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client/members’ needs and to promote the Willis Towers Watson brand.

  • Develop knowledge of clients pension schemes

  • Build a relationship with the clients.

  • Be a point of reference for standard automated cases.

The Requirements

You are an enthusiastic person who can support the team of pension administrators in the management and administration of non-statutory plans in a client-oriented manner. Beside this, you have:

  • Degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum 3 year experience in pension funds management

  • Numerical skills

  • Good interpersonal skills to include good written and verbal communication

  • Good organizational skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft tools

  • The main working languages are Dutch, French and English; fluency in at least two is an advantage

  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy

  • Able to work well under pressure and meet targets
