JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of dedicated client servicing teams, you will work closely with other consultants and analysts in providing a variety of high quality services to clients. In close coordination with other Willis Towers Watson professionals, these services include: strategic setting of investment objectives, strategic asset allocation, investment management structures, manager selection, performance measurement and evaluation, investment manager monitoring, custodian selection, transition advice, statements of investment policy and global research services.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to identify their goals & objectives and work with internal teams to design and implement investment strategies that help them achieve their goals

• Help clients utilize internal and external governance resources to maximize efficiency of their portfolios by considering all of our intellectual capital and best ideas

• Coordinate and leverage resources from internal Willis Towers Watson subject matter experts such as: Investment Strategy, Portfolio Construction, Research, and Reporting.

• Identify unmet client needs and proactively seek out solutions in collaboration with other internal resources (for example where resources and governance are lacking, help clients consider further delegation of authority to improve outcomes)

• Serve as an extension of staff to coordinate and facilitate production and delivery of materials consistent with client agreement scope of services

• Introduce and partner with other internal lines of business and services to assist in better addressing the client’s need and objectives

• Ensure all client materials adhere to required professional excellence standards (e.g., documentation, communication, record retention) and champion professional excellence initiatives to ensure team is in compliance

• Collaborate and partner with other Willis Towers Watson colleagues to help inspire confidence and demonstrate leadership (e.g., integration, corporate social activities, lead training, facilitate knowledge transfer, succession planning)

• Support junior colleagues through coaching, mentoring and sharing of knowledge and experience to help with career development as well as cross-training and back-up support for clients

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree along with progress towards (or interest in pursuing) relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, or equivalent

• Five or more years of progressive investment experience, ideally gained in a client-service oriented environment (consulting, investment management or portfolio management).

• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external constituencies

• Experience in a client-service environment; demonstrated ability to understand the needs of a client and translate into action

• Team player comfortable in a professional services environment with the ability to effectively debate and subsequently influence internally & externally at all levels
